Lone Tree Productions

http://web.soldatrs.com/

Lone Tree Productions was created to make attractive websites for people who need them. They can be made for clans, projects or events.

Our team for the moment is BmC, Xavios, James Bond and myself, with petitions for others on the way. I've hand coded this website from pure scratch. 'Twas more difficult than I thought it would be. This is my first non-table CSS design. Tell me what you think!

Epic fail.

Don't use the Strict dtd if you cant use it. You will just make a fool of your self.

Other than that its no where near as bad most of the other stuff I see on the forum.

Please read some of the articles so you can learn to use the Strict dtd correctly. I'm really glad you aren't using tables, though.

Also, I think the font of the section headings is way too large. The colors aren't bad IMHO.
There are other worlds than these

That was depressing to look at the validation page. Safe to say, it's valid now, atleast index.html is. I'll work on the other pages later today.

Thanks guys!

Why are you basing your design for video games? I am always looking for good designers to supplement the work I do for a client.

the least you could do is fix the links to ~N{B} and .:|BAM|:.

Oh, I didn't mean to put R/S, my bad. This is a free service to anyone, although the only URL we can give is .soldatrs.com. Sorry.

And the .:|BAM|:. Website should work. The ~N{B} website is currently on the wrong URL, it's on Fate's URL, so once BmC clears it up, the link will work. That and it's still under construction for a few more days whilst he works out the kinks.

Also, once BmC fixes his website, I'll add it to our portfolio so that link will work too. This has just begun, so I'm waiting for everything else to fall into place.

Lastly, Xavios joined our team. Welcome. If anyone else would like to contribute, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

And the .:|BAM|:. Website should work.

It links to http://www.soldatrs.com/web/bam.soldatrs.com instead of just bam.soldatrs.com

HARGH! Thanks for catching that, I did the same thing with NB's website. Fixed now.

I re-released the website, different design, different name, more people working.

way to fail Puddle
Offtopic: Your theme looks like crap ;)

I've been looking for someone to host my DansGFX website ever since EMDCO just dropped off the face of the earth. How much webspace/bandwidth can you offer to us (being anyone else seriously looking at this)? I need somewhere to upload my Soldat movie when its done, as there is no way I'm uploading it to rapidshare or any of those....
Just another soul to burn.

The host is by Hostmonster. It says 15,000 gigs of transfer on their website, but I'll check with the admin to verify. And space, I'll check with him as well with that, but I'm guessing 1 gig maximum, though I could be wrong.

If i get you right, you were supposed to make templates by yourself?

However, you list this as your work http://nb.soldatrs.com/

Yet i found an interesting comment from the source code

Just wanting an explanation.

I'm glad you inquired Dimage.

Our service is by a team of people. That particular website was coded by a friend of mine, another member of the team, BmC. Apparently he did download that template and modify it for personal use; I'll take it down as soon as possible.
