It's located in Europe.

Basicly Virtus is providing shell accounts for people. People can then host their own servers in the shells. They can put 2 Soldat servers, or 7 Soldat servers if they want to. One can just do whatever he wants to with the shell account.

Ride > You can choose from either 40Mbit Fiber in Denmark, or 100Mbit Fiber on a 37GB Backbone in Germany.. you can ping either siara.splashgame.org or thor.gameserverworks.com to see the actually ping / latency to the 2 different locations.

erm, how many users are on one machine? You mentioned 4 Servers, is this one server per Customer? If there are more Customers per Server, do you use some virtualizing Software or just share one OS with several users (wich are sudoers)

there can be 1 to say 10 pr server. depending on their various needs.. We have many systems, mostly 64bit linux servers, some 32bit, but their fast and reliable.. you could check this gameserver we had for a few months.. http://siara.splashgame.org/munin/localdomain/localhost.localdomain.html

I remember someone telling me that it was legal to run a private server for WoW, as long as all the people playing had memberships to the actual game. Not too sure about the truth behind it, though, as they had been running private servers themselves.
