Hey hey hey! There's my new map after a long while without do any.
I hope someone upload it to his INF server (I hope Leo do). I tested the gameplay a bunch of times and it's fine, you can get faster the other side of the map.

Awesome look, especially water is maybe the best that I've seen. I don't know a lot about inf maps but I think idea is unique. This is like that paratroopers are behind the enemy lines and they have to manage into base with help of buddies. I don't like the layout :S.  There's only one route and no jets (that's why I don't like TW maps). Also don't use scenery as polygons. Polygons are made to go through not collide (except bridges).

Don't worry.... you're not the only one. I'm going to DL this map, then rate it.

That's what everyone should do:
Play the maps and test everything, not just see the overview!

Looks pretty (really like that oasis), but I'm not a fan of large maps (this one's 2.4 MB). I am happy to see my boat being used in something which should get more play than my inexplicably buggy Deep Boogie map. :P Nice idea, too, and there's no harm in blending INF and TW modes together for some variety.

Thank you Mr. Domino, I'm glad you like my oasis. Alright Niko, what the fuck? You ripped off my bunker from Anoxi (Which at least you credited) But you also stole my oasis, and my tower from Crescent. Additionally, you stole the fire I used on the bridge in Anoxi, but re-sized it.

As far as I'm concerned, this map gets a 0 out of 5, and it should be taken down until premission is recieved to use the prefabs he did.

Yeah, that's disappointing. The whole map appears to be nothing but a cut-and-paste job. What exactly is unique to this map anyway?

What map of yours has your oasis? Can't recall you ever making a desert-ish map. :) Maybe one of the Infamous maps which is slipping my mind?

After looking at Wraithlike's TW maps and checking for what he called "misuse of his own work that wasn't credited accordingly or even given permission to be placed on your map" I noticed that you did in fact repeat many of what he used in his map without first (or so he tells me) asking permission. As far as I'm concerned you ripped off his map and twisted it around to being your own unique map with a little help here and there from a few well known mappers.

I have yet to pinpoint the oasis scenery he is talking about since I can't find it on TMS. But not even 1/3 of his total maps ( I would guess) are even present on TMS. Only his latest. I'll look deeper into his older stuff for confirmation on that part. The rest is a classic case of c+p. =/

Oh, holy sh*t...  :(
You are right, Wraithlike, but I just thought that it wouldn't bother you, because I PM'ed you a while ago to get permission to use your bunker (For my remake of Buncker) and you said that I was free to use it. I forgot to write all your prefabs because i was very happy with the final results, and posted it as fast i could, also, I thought that if I used your things to make a beautiful thing it wouldn't bother you.  :'(

A million sorrys. Do you want that I remake this map using my own things? You are in your right. For now It's censored. :( I feel so bad now... sorry dude  :-[

I think that, even though you copied and pasted it's still a good map.

Wraithlike, give him a break, man. He apologized. It's a nice map, and the fact that he's using your things should make you proud, anyway. Now you know just how much people actually love your work. :P

Our PM conversation:
Quote from: Wraithlike
Ok, the quickest simplest way to go through with this is to say something to the extent of,

"Dearest Wraithlike, Although I am completely undeserving of your sympathy, I hereby request that you allow me to use a few pieces of your maps to improve mine. I know that you are strictly against this, and believe that one should do it by his or her self, but in this one instance will you please allow me? You of course will be credited."

and I will reply, "Yes, go right ahead, but please ask first next time, and you should work on using them yourself."

Also, it's a very nice looking map. :D

How can I compensate you?
That post had me freezed... i forgot to ask for your permissionĀ  :-[
For now no one can download it. It's totally censored everywhere: Soldat Forums, TMS, Realsol, my clan forum, in all places, no one is able to download it.

If you want that I remake it, i will do that without any problem, It's your right. I just hope you forgive meĀ  :-[ I feel so bad =/

I'm not such a bad guy, am I?

And here's a temporary download until he gets that PM.

Well, nice to see you found it in your heart to forgive him. :P

Nice work setting up a temporary download too. If anyone's willing to read past the big, red CENSORED at the top of the screen, they might find it and still get to enjoy the map.

I'm-a waypoint this thing...

Okay I must say that it was hard to understand. I meant this

Player is laying at the top of scenery so scenery is "colliding" (of course we know that there's a poly behind). There are numerous that kind of scene+poly stoppers which frustated me a bit.

This is a very beautiful thing indeed. I particularly like the far left with the waterfall and the boat.

I just don't understand that why do you consider yourself as a "PRO mapmaker." I've seen a few of your maps, and they just doesn't look like they were done by a pro.
And if this map really is a ripoff, doh. Make your own "pro" maps.

Well, it shouldn't cuz many TW maps do it, and some other too... get over it.
