Regarding PW's Light Object
« on: December 02, 2007, 04:45:33 pm »
Oh how things change in a year on hiatus....

So either I'm a complete idiot or mentaly retarded. I have no idea how to use this Light Object (and Z-Gradient) and all search results have been quite weak in responce.

On top of all of this, every one of my experiments have resulted in utter frustration with minimal returns.

Would anyone be as kind to explain these damn things to a confused bafoon?

Place out a few lights, then use the depth map tool to modify the depth map; basically, the brighter the depth map, the more will nearby lights affect the polygon color.
