Adds to loby? But I thought...

Ok I though the loby was down, and it was, but now it says game server added to lobby, but still trys to register to the other ones like..selfkill... etc, so does that mean, I can play online now? Becuase I put it as a dedicated server to check to see if it was really added, so I go seperatly opening Soldat, and click request...yet I dont see my server, even though its a dedicated server. So whats the prob? I can request games now, yet I dont see mine, even though it says added to lobby, BUT it DOES NOT say added to selfkill or etc... Do I just wait or what? Becasue I am confused right now. thanks.

MM most likely went out of his way to get the lobby at http://lobby.soldat.pl:13073/ back up until selfkill gets their act together.

Please be warned that the lobby.soldat.pl lobby has lately been unstable (hence our reliance on selfkill) and there should be a more redundant lobby system back up soon.

To anyone reading this thread who does not have lobby.soldat.pl in their lobby_servers.txt file, I highly suggest you put it back in

Setting up a lobby server requires a lot of bandwidth, and besides, you can just use EnEsCe's mirror, or some other program.

I plan to be setting up a lobby server soon.  Between myself and selfkill, you guys should be covered.

Usually soldat.pl and selfkill both run one, and that is more than enough... but lately selfkill has been having problems.

you cant use a mirror is the signal your bouncing it off of isnt being sent.

The lobby doesn't go down often, and we should have plenty of redundant lobbies (me, soldat.pl, and selfkill.com) such that it won't be a problem any more.

does having a lobby in a different country help? personally I think that if somebody could get a lobby server (or whatever they're called..) in Australia. Just a thought.....but carry on......

erm...I went to request servers..and I saw a server named selfkill sold or sumthin like that...is this why its down?
