→ Soldat will never be programmed for portable consoles/machines, or probably even regular gaming consoles (Michal doesn't have the money nor the time to do so, and even then gameplay probably would flop on such systems)

O RLY? I think that nowadays the Wii could probably support Soldat VERY well. Hell, I'd play it. You could even flick the nunchuk to throw a grenade. Hello Virtual Console! (It's getting an 'Original Game' section soon, so it won't be all classics... Soldat, anyone?) I know this won't happen, but I want to know what others think about this.

Aiming at suck small little Soldats with the Wii controller would be near-impossible. Hell, aiming at full-sized objects is hard enough. (actually, i just suck)

Aiming wouldn't be a problem as the soldiers woudn't be so small on a TV and the wii's aiming works like a charm.


It's not a stupid idea. But the fact remains that it'll never happen because of the whole recoding issue.

^THERE! He got the main gist of this all. The aiming on the Wii is VERY easy. And I even stated that this won't ever happen. Just wanted to see what people's opinions were... I guess most of you don't like Wii...

Honestly, look at the games you have on wii and look at soldat, now i know soldat is fun, but shit, if i had a choice of this or other games, such as wii, or xbox360... i'd sure as hell not choose soldat. I know im not the only one who thinks this, because this community would be a whole lot bigger if i was.

Not only would it be a huge pain for MM, but porting to a system like the wii would totally suck. A direct port of everything almost always sucks. The Wii is a kind of system that needs it's games to be built custom from the ground up.

Lol, I tried downloading soldat on my wii using the internet channel, It said It doesn't support zip,rar,png,etc. files T.T

I'm saying it should be downloadable to the VC (Virtual Console)... I know there are a lot more fun games out there, but what the hell. And a-4-year-old... good point.
