I do the same, i rarely ever put my crosshair directly on the person and i do pretty well like that.

all I do is make the adjustment for the curve, no matter where the crosshair is, with a rifle I just aim for the head and if i am far enough away I can hit the chest.

Don't camp and be aware of the moveacc/bink

Elite 1 Shots? I saw you, but I forgot it was you, you should have mentioned it... I am admin for that server, I could've pm'd you a server we would've fought at and I would've showed you some ricochets on 5 maps, and most snipers use those ricochets to kill in 1vs1 or pubs.

Play in a server with all snipers like elite snipe and slice <ip = u13.net> <port = 30004>
play that server there are Only snipers and alot of them are extremly helpful

Avoid using jets for long periods of time .. shot goes everywhere
dont stay in the same spot !
Keep moving
take a shot in prone .. <press "X">
dont prone on the ground <hard to get up =[>
go for long distance shots ..
go to server i said they helpful many extremly experienced snipers!

1. Play with it in larger maps.

2. IMO, best secondary weapon with it is SOCOM. However, if you come across a spray gun or deagles, pick it up. (MP5, AK, and AUG are best IMO) I would not recommend using Spas, Ruger, M79, or barrett with the barrett. Spas has no range and is only good in certain situations, ruger isnt good against rushers unless you're really good (easily binked in my experience), and m79 isn't good because it is also 1 hit kill, If you use Barrett and M9 and use both,y ou're in trouble with the long reload. Minigun goes without saying.

3. There are two general playing styles I use:

a. Camp in the bushes. Snipe anyone on your screen. If you camp, you will not have to worry about bink unless you're hit. Also, keep moving between shots when enemy is not there to mess with him (and so they don't catch on). If you run into trouble, spray with socom.

b. Use it like a spray gun. You heard me correctly. Run around and shoot with it. This is tricky with bink. If you are dealing with really good sprayers, do not try this. Basically before you shoot, go prone in midair and let go of all other controls. If you are not binked, the shot will go exactly where you want it every time. Sometimes this is an awesome tactic, sometimes it is hard to actually carry out. If it is hard, do not bother. If you run into trouble, use mr socom or mr sprayer if you have it.

Meh, don't lower your sensitivity if you don't want to. Play at what your comfortable at. One of the best at barret(imo), Shady used like 125-150 and he was very effective. I prefer playing with either 60-80 or 200 with it.

I would also not suggest going in servers such as Elite or custom servers because they remove parts vital to the game such as the autos that you need to get accustomed to. The people there also pride in their weapon the barret, but when they play in actual clanwars, they seem to be more or less ineffective with the weapon(some are still decent) when they come across an automatics. Yes, movement is key but if you know you're not going to win, run preferably with a socom, or possibly a knife. Always grab the nades when you're out.

Most people think its better in larger maps, I personally like it in smaller maps where I know where all the players are. Although distance is an advantage, try not scoping because you never know when someone is behind you. I also find it easier NOT to prone before you shoot. Pressing that extra key is actually timely and can make or break you. Again, that's more of a preference thing and you do what you are comfortable with. Just remember to let go of any movement button before you shoot.

Other than that, it is just time. You will incorporate your own style and preferences with it. Good luck with it.

Sky needs to get good when bink is around, bink always happens, so he needs to learn how to shoot with it, especailly in something other than 1vs1.

shoot a barret is all about fisic id ur going up and the target is going up shot a lill up depending on the distance, if ur going up and ur target is going down shot alill down ,etc etc is all aboout fisics and good timing

If you plan to use the sniper 24/7 turn your mouse sensitvity down so you can aim easier. Tho i play with 120-150 mouse sensitivty but i like the sniper...usually Proning in the air while trying to target someone makes shooting it alot easier.

Use the socom as your secondary because you will likely have to run away and fire.

If someone decides to get into a pussy battle hiding behind polys with you, usually you can just jump up a little above the edge and get the easy shot.

Picking up two Barrets is cheap but funny because they'll usually rush you after your first shot and you have a second one for them.

Most importantly learn the best camp spots on each map, particularly the areas where most players will run.
