Watching/Playing that, scared you
« on: December 14, 2007, 08:04:48 pm »
The topic may sound a bit strange actually, but, you will see whats about. Im talking about things you did, like playing games, or watching movies, that eventually scared you for one week, 1 month etc... What you watched/played, affected your mind in the following days.

In my case, 2 years ago, i remember i started to see a lot of ghost movies in youtube, i just did, i don't remember why i started it. You know, those videos that caught ghosts on camera, or even some slideshows. I did this for a whole week, every day at night. I dunno why i started to do that, but the fact, is that on the next week, i was scared to go to the computer room with the lights out. Why? The videos i watched? Maybe. The fact is, i was really scared to go to the second division of the house alone. Thats right. I had this strange fear  that something might pop up right in front of me or if i turned on the lights, someone was there right next to me. So, i stop watching those films, and, in the next week, all this fear was gone and i was "normal" again. I never watched those films again.

it's all in your head buddy. because you think there could be something there, and you imagine it, you get scared, if you just think, 'there could be something there, meh, so what..' and go on, you won't be scared.
(point is, you make yourself being afraid)

That one still startles me.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

What the fuck is it with all those reptilian like babies? I'm trying to find some answers but I can't find any.

Anyway, the thing that scared me the most was watching ET when I was a kid. I dunno, I've watched scream and all that stuff, but ET was freaky in a freaky kinda way.

When I first started playing Diablo 2, I got afraid that small sprites would be hiding everywhere and were waiting to jump out and kill me. :P
Also, I got pretty freaked out by the flowers in Secret of Mana which look like they're in the background but suddenly jump and bite you.

Damn my curiosity. I just google image searched that. Just a pointer for anyone who hasn't: don't, if you value your last meal.
