LAW is fine, I'm pretty damn good with it.
I liked it more before the start up time though.

I think just nerfing the reload time would be cool enoough. I'm not much of a LAW user anyways.

Apparently it does.

I like the M-72 LAW, hell, I love it, but there are times when I wish that the reload time was cut down some, at least 3/4 the reload time.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

@Twistkill: well, I also had in mind killing the startuptime completely. But with what 5th_account said (reload is lessened by one sec. but everything else stays the same), that's good too.

I think it's fine as it is now. (I'm a LAW user and only use it.)

Dosen't anyone think it will be overpower if the reload time are faster? Consider that it's just a secondary weapon.

A little bit, maybe, but that'd add to its popularity and I don't think it'd sway mass gameplay opinion much against it...

I use the law, but if you want to make it easier, i wont stop you. then complain when you go too far about how a bunch of noobs started using the law and about how it used to be for the 1337.

Law is alright. I use it in open maps where I can aim it randomly and drop it on somone's head like a mortar. I think it's good as it is because removing startup or decreasing reload time would make it a secondary m79. That would be a bad thing. No matter how much you tell me m79 is skill weapon I hate it to the core. The law for me makes a good sniping weapon when I'm in a larger open terrrain where my knife is useless and I dont even have to leave the ground to get around seeing as I have to crouch and remain planted just to fire the damn thing...

radical you are right, if we made reload and startup way less. but aslong as it keeps to its current guidelines and edited enough that its even for pros and cons.

I think the LAW is a very balanced weapon; in fact, I like it so much I named my clan after it.  The delay before shots is no worse than the one you need to kill with the knife; it just takes some getting used to.  I think the reload time is so long because it's a long-range, 1 hit kill weapon that fires in a very shallow arc (almost straight).

The law is not my weapon in dm's. the knife is.

in inf and ctf, however, the law is a VERY useful tool. i have watched those trick law shot movies, but the ones in the movies are set up. and you'll never use becuase of the fact you can just aim straight anyway.

i found some useful ones, that can be used in ctf and infs, like ctf_viet, i can drop a law on the flag area to eliminate campers.

the abilty of this is perfect for me, and i feel the law is accuatly a little to overpowered.

Imho, it needs no startup time or reduced reloading... I use it from time to time, when knifing becames too boring.

the law is good but once i use it i tottally forget about it. because soldat is so fast paced (a good thing) you just don't have time to sit around for it to reload. If you are a good lawer, or not, and you some how miss................ your screwed!!!!

If you miss, you switch back to your primary and keep shooting.

The LAW is not "over nerfed", though.  It's the only weapon in the game that can take out an opponant across the map wearing a bulletproof vest in one shot.
