I think the law is very usable but not too efficient at what it does, although the reload mainly makes it a one time thing.

Not really... I use and reuse one LAW many times if I'm able to stay alive for a long time...

I agree but It should'nt have the huge drop to it. I get killed instanly after I use it because I undershoot the target and the target's got a Spas or somthing and after throwing 2 or 3 grenades killing me they continue to fire a round or two into my corpse.

This is not the LAW's problem. If you're going to use it, you need to practice so you can hit your target. If aiming is a problem, then use the Socom which isn't so all-or-nothing.

If you don't undershoot, the target won't be able to fire back.  That's user error, not weapon error.  I rarely miss LAW shots, and that's a result of practice.

M79 is a primary; LAW is a secondary. I agree that the LAW's reload time is just too much, but for a one-hit kill secondary weapon that has full screen and greater range, it needs some weakness. The reload time is part of balancing it out.

mmm... reduce law reload = increase law camping. No thanks.

I think the law is fine. You're not supposed to be able to kill everyone with a secondary weapon. Shoot it once, and while you're reloading, if you encounter an enemy, switch to primary, kill enemy, and switch back to continue reloading the law. Works fine for me. 8)

The law is fine as a secondary. if it was a primary then thats another story.

To me, the law's reload is ridiculous. if there gonna make reload long with the LAW they might as well make the m79 have a long reload.

Would you rather have the reload time of Halo's rocket launcher?  People would whine left and right.  Besides, the m79 is a short range, inaccurate, primary weapon.  The LAW is a long range, accurate, secondary weapon.  It makes sense for it to have a long reload.

LAW's are used quite abit in clanwar tactics (eg shooting them from near your base in laos so that if flies out the hole and destroys anyone mid that happens to be in its path)

I did'nt say the LAW's drop was bad and somtimes the drop comes in handy like for spraying in a open top map.It just that I usually play on smaller maps and while their spraying me with MP5 fire I die right before I get off a LAW shot. I'm not that bad using the LAW but aginst a couple guys that are spaced apart with MP5's ablazing I die very quickly. That does'nt mean i'll stop using it though. It is a very fine weapon.I was just saying that I would like it if they took  some drop off of it though.

the thing that annoys me is people think the law is nerfed becuase they just think of it as a point and reload weapon, but it's not.

the law is very unique. not only becuase it'a a mini-sniper, but becuase you are able to make shots that no other weapon can, becuase of it's great ricochet shots. im sure you've all watched the trick law movies...and they inspired me to accuatly use the more usefull shots in ctf's.

i've touched up on the usefull shots and i can get a perfect shot from the bottom left of ctf_veit just under alpha's base and drop it perfectly on the flag, removing campers hiding there, every time. this is just one of a few examples.

So does everyone.  The LAW is not meant to handle several incoming opponents at once.  It's better against campers, or a single incoming enemy, or a fleeing EFC.

law is very good with start uo time. With no start up, we can miss the target easely, the start up we can aiming the enemy while pressing the buton and then just fire, and anyway you can for example... you saw your team mate and you only thinked one time and you just pressed the buton with no start up time, what happens? team kill or waste of the missile. with start up time you press and you saw your team mate and leave the button. its like barret, on old version is just press the mouse button to fire, now have start up time, now its much better, no more team kills with a mistake.

I totally agree with PeteBone on the LAW's start up time. He's got a got point there.
