Oh, is it that time of the week again?

Anyway, another movie to cricticize...

I thought Shooter (a R-rated movie) was very good, considering it's based on a novel by an author who seems very up-to-date on things and got some of the sniping facts right. Sniping really is a physics hit-or-miss kind of thing. Wind speed, humidity, all that plays in how you have to hit the target.

Anyway, the plot was good, though riddled with some confusing political garbles that goes with the supposed assassination of the president. Pretty soon, the main character of the movie, expert sniper Bob Lee Swagger, finds it was a set-up and is on the run from over a hundred federal agents searching for him. I'm not supposed to give away important story points, so you'd have to watch it yourself.

I loves Mark Wahlberg in any movie. He was really good in this one.

Yea, it was a pretty good movie. Wasn't Marks best though.

although i dont share his enthusiasm, i liked the movie but its been a while since i've seen it, and i watch a lot of military/war movies so what im thinking may not be shooter, but i think it is... the beginning starts out with them camping out on some cliff and they start owning the fuck outta the intruders? am i right?

And yes i loved the departed, that was my shit, i watched it back to back to back :$

You're kidding, right? Sure, it was fun to watch, but the story's not exactly original. Generic action thrillers are just what they are, nothing deeper. Watch The Shawshank Redemption for a taste of cinematic genius.

saw it today at school, it's a great movie, but i expected the end to be a bit better. it seemed so short..

still, i give it a 9/10 rating.

TBDM: The movie is a bit over 2 hours long...I'd say that's a fair amount of film.

i know it's a long movie in time, but when you watch it, it's over before you know it, wish makes it a good movie.

The story and fight scenes seemed old and unoriginal. It seemed to be a pretty generic movie to me.
