Satisfying

Have you ever had an experience where you defeat a player and feel so unbelievably satisfied? Whether it's because the other player trash-talked, acted high & mighty, or was just simply great at Soldat, I'm sure every veteran of the game has experienced such a triumph. Nothing in Soldat can be more satisfying than a good can of whoop-ass unleashed on those who deserve it.

I was on one of my many aliases, made specifically for deathmatch rounds and deathmatch rounds alone. The map was Airpirates and one specific player was beginning to present himself as a major nuisance to everyone who was in the server. This player always had something to say to excuse any death he tallied. He complained of lag and noobs plaguing the server. In addition to this relentless complaining, he managed to comment about how “great” he was every so often. I knew it was someone’s job to shut this guy up and I was already in second place, slowly & steadily catching up with him. His favorite (and probably most skillful) weapon he used was the AK-74. He was a good shot and maneuvered well. I used the Desert Eagles at the beginning of the round but realized I needed an automatic to catch up faster. There were a good handful of people (about seven or eight I believe) and groups of people were hard to handle with Desert Eagles. I had started using the AK recently because I felt it was a weapon I could definitely improve on. I selected the rifle and began the reign of carnage. At the last three minute mark of the round, the player and I were trading first and second place back and forth.
Thirty seconds left. I desperately leap off the top right cliff of an overhang and unleash hell on a player below me. I skip over to the other side of the map and I spot someone following me with a knife. I quickly crouch and roll to the right as he throws his knife. The knife barely misses me and sails past my head. I switch to my knife and fling it at his back, close-range. Barely any time left… twenty seconds and we have the same score. I quickly continue on my path, picking up my knife on the way to the left side of the map. I see the asshole hovering with his jets and firing his AK away at some enemy who’s not in sight. Fifteen seconds. The asshole's jets run out so I quickly estimate the distance between us and the time it takes for him to fall before I fling my knife. The knife seems to glide through the air and arcs perfectly enough to pierce right into his neck. The scoreboard pops up and I realize that I have won about fifteen seconds before the round even ended. One-hundred kills tallied. He has ninety-nine kills and I have a death less than him. I flood him with demeaning insults and once I feel it’s enough to completely ruin his day, I leave.

Have you ever had an experience where you know you won’t be able to get the revenge you so dearly hope to unleash? It’s like calling someone an asshole before you kill them. You say it because you know they know they’ll never see you again and won‘t get the chance get payback.

Yeah I played some very even 1v1 fights. Had me on edge untill the final kill on the final round.

Also today there was this guy who out of nowhere called me a "nap" or whatever when I killed him. I killed him every time I met him in a duel on the map, and his comments were just spewing out.

It was just so funny to see this prepubecent shitkid in such a rage, so I ended up just hunting him down for the entire round. I think he killed me 1 time with a random LAW shot, while I killed him 20 something.
That was pretty satisfying

Ya happend to me too but still I loose a lot of games so...thats why I dont trash talk UNLESS I know they can't beat me

Nice moment, pretty intense. That's what I love about dm, just join a match, pwn everyone till no ones talking only trying to kill you, win, then leave.

I got that satisfying when i barrted the person in 1st place and watched his little ragdoll fly across the map

Once i was barrett dueling a dude(when i used aug he went SNiPE ONLY)  i owned him. Then he tried to votekick me!(We were the only ones there) He even said f12. He left shortly after, his nick is bart simpson.

After rereading my post, I get the feeling that I may come off as some type of psycho/serious-Soldat-enthusiast.

Part of that satisfaction is certainly due to the fact that it was a mid-range knife kill (if I understood correctly).

Yeah feels good but some people can't name em but I think they're like really good since I played with them then when I pwn em they whine "lagger" "hacker ",etc. Makes me feel good but then I think they should stfu thinking they own everyone and will never get owned, How pathetic.

Yeah, it was. It was when I started calling on no-lifer (good gamer) a noob, tk'ed him and then voted him with "server:possible cheating" off the game. Good times.

I beat |PriV. once in a normal deathmatch with around 4 people in. Never felt better.
