hopefully sex grabbed your attention, arguably sex usually does.

In stead of making a completely new thread, I'm just going to recycle this one. I'll just keep uploading images of my unfinished Soldat maps for the sake of not forgetting to finish what I was doing and because you know that I can. It is very easy to forget to finish a map after having stopped or started working on a different one...
I suppose that the newer maps are most probably going to be finished some time before your funeral.

I. Ctf_crossing
II. Ctf_scotch
III. inf_hlabo (experimental name given by a continental mental soldat player, I'll change it if I care) 
IV. ctf_homo a basic ordinary easy whatever simple soldat map, nothing spec.
V. dm_script probably 4 years old or so, it is just for show, check the structure- crazy eh? That is the mapmaker 1.2 for you...
VI. hns_adonis
ok wtf is HNS you ask, HNS stands for Hide aNd Seek. The point of it is rather simple, in realistic mode, one player starts at the designated area (in adonis it is the furthermost left zone and the others run away from there to hide. the guy on the platform counts (instead of counting maybe a maze should be built there... dunno) the obj. is for the counter guy to find a hiding guy who will then go counting, if you find two at the same time, then you just kill each other and the one who loses goes counting (something like that)

XIII.  smashed (dm map, pretty old, but I restructured it and added scenery. Haven't released though.)

XV. ctf_HoverLaps (hover submode map)
XVI. ctf_Zombo (zombie map or smth, basically it would be my first zombie map)
XVII. dm_Bluecrust (old winter themed map- inspired by the game daimonin)
Warninig for children and little girls: this map is old and ugly and may make your eyes bleed

(An ordinary capture the flag. Initial partial layout sketch was made by boxo and then thrown at my face)

IV Ctf_Scourge 2
(ctf_Scourge was released a while ago, but it proved to be too ordinary and have problems with spawnkilling and base camping. I've fixed all of the camping and spawnkilling related problems)

V Ctf_Garden
(Initial layout by boxo, was meant to be made for Soldat version 1.3.?)
Readiness: 80%

VI Inf_Carnage
(Next Zombie map after inf_Fear)
Readiness: 90%

VII Time
[random HTF/DM crappery.  (according to VTT, could also be called Checkers)]
Readiness: 87%

VIII Ctf_Skotch
(resurrected)
Readiness: 65%

IX Ctf_Raid
(a lot of flag throwing on this one)
Readiness: 70%

X Ctf_Holocaust
(shiny ground stuff is deadly, most of everything can be shot through)

IMO:

Ctf_crossing - definately, I'd play that map, it gives me a feel that viagra never could.

inf_named-by-retard also looks good and looks fun for an inf map (which imo is hard to find), im guessing that alpha spawns on both sides of the fortress.

The other one, meh, do if you want but i'd say focus on those ^^

I like your mapping style overall.

Yeh me too. I like the way you cope with few sceneries and map still looks great. Im just thinking they are too huge to my taste. I think those maps need about 5on5, propably bigger... That Scotch's long spawn tunnel is not needed it's horrible for gameplay. There is a lot of more to say but got no energy to do that. Ctf_Crossing is my favourite.

Crossing looks really nice, but I can't imagine the layout working out too well. It's way too long and narrow. Skotch is just crap, I wouldn't play it.

Hlabo looks really nice though, I'd put effort into getting that nice and finished.

ctf_Crossing has a lot of potential and needs some attention because its just to good to be discarded.

The rest just need a lot of work that I feel will just be a complete waste of time because they aren't very playable or attractive.

You've always been one of my favorite mappers and I've got a lot of inspiration from you.  I expect to surprised the next time I check this thread.

I must say, u r theme master. Usually we see only green jungle maps (cos they are easy to do). But everyone of these looks amazing and different. I vote for crossing (as I said before), drit and onix.

My goodness. You shame me in the mapping business. I probably say this everytime I witness a good mapper's work... but I see good maps, then think about how I lack creativity when it comes to thinking of new concepts. Yep. And I usually don't recieve an ounce of inspiration. I get inspiration from seeing new mappers suck...

How long did it take you to become a recognized mapper?

I must say, I liked that Titanic map, Drit, and Zombo. The reason for Zombo, not being because it's a zombie map, but because I like the basic and conceptual erie mood about the map, and the little bridge structures which I feel fit perfectly into that atmosphere. Yeah, that's my pick.

stick to the topic and just for the record, since when did I give a sh*t about your opinion anyway? It is nowhere mentioned that these maps are godly in any way, if they were good I would have released them already, no? Onix is the only multitextured map out of these and it is good tahat way, because I cannot be arsed to make a multitex map since it takes too freaking much time to get the whole texture bugless. They are based on atleast TWO colours. So yeah, now you know. Am I a god of mapping or do I just point out the flaws of the maps to people?

Well of course they're not going to be amazing. THEY'RE INCOMPLETE! This means he could change alot.
I really like most of these. I think Titanic, crossing, drit and onix could have real potential.
The others, well, I can see why they're incomplete really.

No, he doesn't suck. He is the mapping god. You should read that title again: "vig's unfinished maps" which means these are unfinished, that's why they can not be 10 of 10. I'm sure You can't beat him in mapping, which means you don't know anything about maps.

BTW: Vig, to be really honest, I like all those maps. You should finish them. (Y) Gj, keep it up!

Ctf_homo, inf_ho and Drit are definately worth finishing.

The first one would make a good ctf map - no experimenting, only the traditional ideas optimes. It certainly seems promising.

Drit and inf_ho look astonishing, and they're not as flat and tight as factory, so the gameplay might be rad on those too.

Also, LeetFiddle warned for flaming. Not the right time or place mate.
