According to the above link from the Uk telegraph, If you are obese( Weight and hight index can tell you, or go to a doctor) then eating red meat and drinking alcohol may give you a better chance of developing cancer.
The article goes on to say that although smoking is a major cause of cancer, not having a healthy diet could be another cause, Look out America!!

Also i would like to draw attention to the part of the article where it states;
There was little credible evidence that so-called superfoods such as garlic, broccoli, or berries actually prevented cancer.(Take that frogboy)
And this isn't a one off article, There are several articles from different parts of the world that seem to agree, Red meat such as lamb, pork and beef will not only taste good, but also kill you in the long run, This is another example of people believing anything they hear, so far in 2/3 of the articles i've read have only just managed to scrape up enough evidence to make it seem like it's a definitive answer, Not to mention that the ABC article (http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/12/11/2115679.htm)

The point is that all of these reports say that if you eat it you have a high risk of getting cancer. In the last two articles i just mentioned, There is no mention of those people's health and well being surveyed over that 8 year period.
For all we know, those people could of been fit, athletic and health conscious. But then again, for all we know they could of been obese, slobs that didn't take a second glance at those scales covered in dust on their bathroom floors.

And as we all know, If it is on the news then it has to be real, because they're like totally like, right all of the, like time, like.  Bias jerks.

Rhombus has a point. You can't get around it, but if you eat healthy, theres a less chance of you having cancer (i.e eat purple and green vegetables.)

Studies don't really do anything. I heard from my mother that aluminum causes Alzheimer's, what a load of crap.

of course many things cause cancer, the human body wasn't really meant to last 80 years anyway.

aluminium is a neurotoxin, and there is only a suggested link to Alzheimer's anyway. aspartame is an artificial sweetener, and could easily contain things which the human body is not meant to absorb. mobile phones emit radiation, which is essentially a lower frequency, lower power version of microwaves. the way meat is cooked creates fumes, of which some are carcinogenic.

Very much so.  Depends on if you're active and around rocks (i.e. fieldwork, being around nasty chemicals, mining, drilling, etc.), or you just sit in an office all day.

Apperently, if you're out in the sun for longer then 15 minutes you have a small chance to get skin cancer, and every 5 minutes after that, your chances of getting are raised like 5%.
I can't find an article that has an exact time on it, but this is what i've been told.
