« on: December 23, 2007, 09:21:23 pm »
mabey some way to get rid of those noobs? Such as, not letting someone use the same name once or twice? I want some way to get rid of imperonators without registering.

Registering is the only way.
OR customize your taunts and make sure no one knows them but your friends/clanmates so if an impersonator does come in, then you throw out a taunt and everyone knows you're the real one. Or make your soldat unique with the way he dresses.
Lol, internets.

Registering Soldat does not protect you from imposters. Registering for NR-Service and playing in NR-Service protected servers, will protect you.

I was under the impression that you said registering as in with the particular server website(or ingame such as toumaz's servers which require you to make a profile with a password), not with soldat.

Are you telling that you are so popular, that people want to impersonate you on publics?

What about getting another nickname than "Major" or "your mom"?

Most of the time when you see an imposter, its pretty obvious that it is and a simple vote-kick will do the trick.

NR-Serivce Beta is full, though, so unless he already has an account, that's not an option.
