Maximum size of Weapon gfx

What's the maximum size that you can set Weapon gfx to?

Some people say it's 32x32. Other people say it's 64x64.

Personally I've never made a weapon that exceeds either of those limits... in fact I'm not even sure if there is a limit....

But to be honest if you're making anything bigger than 14x6 then you're flipping mental.

I've made pretty of bullet gfx larger then 14x6 But just for accuracy what is the maximum dimensions?? T.TR

Accuracy will still be measured as if it were a normal bullet.

If you're firing to the right all of the additional size above the original bullet will do nothing. And if you're firing to the left, all the size below the bullet will do nothing.

The actual area that hits on normal bullets is the most upper left part of the image (which is the front of the bullet)

Already, 64x64 but in practice you never do full 64x64 weapon due to bad, too big looking and some errors with displaying, except that situation, when weapon is only long as 64pix.

I made a beam which was 5x150 if I remember correctly. It was a fast test on how it would look, so I didn't bother shading it very well but it worked, with good results imo. I used this style when I made the "Ray Blaster" bullets.

I've never experimented on the size of the weapon _image_ gfx itself, and neither should you.
