LOOK AT THIS PROBLEM!!
« on: December 27, 2007, 07:44:16 am »
I have a really retarded problem. Sometimes when I play, a really retarded lag comes and then I see one picture where is me, sometimes some other players and one colour background. and that picture stays for 10 second, then comes another, with some other coloured background. And if i wait like that, eventually i get kicked for battleeye violation. i've tried reinstalling but still there is that sh*t. that thing is really pissing me off when i'm in a middle of a climb map and then that lag comes and next i'm dead and in the beginning.

Try enabling video compatibility, maybe that will help.

What are your system specs?

when i enable video compatibility and run soldat, then the game reso is something like 1024x72*. and when i enter a server it exits the game, and i have to disable video compatibility.

and i have one ancient video card trident accelerator something. 700mhz, 160 ram.

I tried these setting, but that lag still appears.
I took 2 pictures of that too, during the lag.

Looks like a problem with your videocard/chipset drivers, try updating them.

Well, find out what card you have and search for the drivers:
To check the card try:
Start>run(under accessories on Vista)>type "dxdiag">Check for the card name under the Monitor/Display tab.

trident video accelerator cyberblade-ai1 agp. that's my video card. and the driver is trid3d.dll 5.01.2527.0136.

First i had trouble to find the right driver that supports directx. if i install any other drivers, i might not be able to play soldat again.

I'd say almost certainly the problem lies with your video card, and the only thing you'd be able to do is to get a new video card (which may or may not be possible for you to do in reality)

Try this: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-40378

Follow the installation intruction below on the page.
I don't know what computer you have but from my searches it looks like a thinkpad. If this driver doesn't work then search on that website as they are supposed to have the drivers. (IBM and/or Lenovo)

I downloaded the setup, extracted it, ran setup.exe and when i clicked to start the installation, it said driver install failed, and no reason too. i have thinkpad, but don't know which one excatly. and i searched IBM site and found http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-40039
there was an instruction on how to check the driver or something and there was that trident accelerator... 6.2014.-005.42

sorry if you can't understand my english.

Well 'm not sure why it failed. Maybe because it's for the wrong model.

Check dxdiag again and see if the model of your computer is shown like on my moms laptop(check img below, though mine is in swedish) and then search for the right driver.
