Flags

Okey I want an option where you can have multiple blue flags and red flags in game.
For example hover, it would be cool if evryone start with a flag and who caps first wins or other stuff you can do nice with more flags.

That would be too chaotic.

Chaotic? Whats chaotic of haveing multiple red or blue flags? That would give new birth to a lot of sub modes.

Think about this, a big match is 15vs15, think about 30 flags being tossed and shot all around, it would lag, and get confusing when there are multiple flags just laying on the ground.

Just put red flag to blue base and visa versa... should be nice enough. This can be without our mighty betatesters' support though. I tried it once, it was pretty interesting.
yes.

I have a few of those maps, they are easy to make, just switch the flags bases and characters spawns.

Man, I really want to be a beta tester... But I highly doubt that the times I get to be on the internet aren't going to be the times listed.

Flags lag? Are you crazy? Who WOULD EVEN play a 15 vs 15 match that would ALREADY lag even if there were 2 flags.

What about you could choose to have maybe maximum 6 total flags? You could make a subgamemode where you had to get all of the other team's flags and cap them to win.

IDK, I think it could be made into something cool; I will F12 with reservations.

If this happens in a scripted unofficial sub-game mode, there would be no problem.
But if this happens in an official game mode then no. It would be bad.

F11- lag and too much chaos. And these "new subgamemodes" will be probably crappy (we need good NORMAL servers, there are only a few)

You can't... I tried.
Showing text history when pressing T is more laggier then a flag.

Anyway my point is that there is an option to add more flags to the default one flag in for example map makers.. that you can make more flags evrywhere.

just make a map with a flag scenery and multiple flag spawns

never know which is real. have fun.

(close enough to what you asked, and it would lag because the flags give points.. so they have scripting in them.. or something.. yea im not to smart when it comes to flags)

People could just mod their flags so they know which is the right one.

I think most people are too lazy to do that :P
