Grenade detonation?

Right now I'm thinking the grenade detonation time is waaayyyyy to long. Instead of a 5 second detonation time, I think its detonation time should be around 3-21/2 seconds instead of that never ending 5 second. If you don't like that idea maybe be able to "Cook" The grenade by holding down E?(No not the 11 year old who hacked ArC servers.)

i like the time the gernades take to detonate for sure and i think they should remain the same.

Meh...I thinq its ok like that but maybe there should be a time thing for the grenade in the weapons.ini so then you could change it.

Yeah, sit timer and cook timer, with a new button for cooking. No change to the current detonation time, though.

Grenades aren't supposed to explode *near* enemy... you have to hit the enemy with them.
Maybe in realistic mode.

F12, but a separate button for cook is too complicated, find a better method...

(I liked my grenade idea's better :P)

Soldats way to fast paced for any cooking of a grenade.  They explode on contact with players, so why would someone rather choose to cook it, and get it to explode next to the player for half the damage......

I counted once and got 4 seconds. Could be wrong though.
I like the idea tho. Could open up new possibilities for nade boosting (even midair if you are a good timer)

Cooking grenades would be ok, but kinda lame... because just say you're trying to have a good clean battle then out of nowhere BAM you're suddenly dead? what happend? you just got cooked my friend...

F12 in a way and F11 in a way.. not really needed

the 5 second time interval is fine, because the nade is only really good...if you hit somebody correct? ya you might get lucky and miss the guy  and some genius comes and trips over it...but my point is rarely the nade is used to sit and wait and it rarely makes the 5 seconds. but i see your point and i'm not arguing mine very well, but i am just sayin usually the nade either hits people and the detonation time doens't matter. if its 5 seconds..and you miss when you throw, it has more time for someone else to come and trip on it, if its only 3, and then you miss your chances for a kill are less. I like the nade the way it is.

If anything make it longer. If a grenade doesn't kill on impact then your only hope for pwn is that someone will walk on it a couple seconds later.
