I think you can just get any infrared light. If you noticed the glasses he was using were not hooked up to anything, just had some infra-red lights on the side.

Just strap the sensor bar to your head, it's not attached to your wii or anything.

No need to use the sensor bar. Infrared LEDs are very cheap.
