Nice shading on the MR-C although the shape really is too boxy... The SCARs would look a lot better with that style of shading.

Update:

2x 90two (1)

M8 Compact (2)

SCAR-H (3)

MR-C (4)

SCAR-L (4)

M1014 (5)

M107 (8)

LWRC SABR (9)

Px4 (10)

Sharp Pointy Knife w/ holes (knife)

M72E10 LAW (law)

Bracketed numbers dictate what weapon they replace. None of these guns are final. Might make (semi?)transparent holes in the M8 compact, LWRC SABR, and M107. Forgot ironsights for LWRC SABR, ill add em soon. Now that i look at it the M8 needs a new shading job around the top left edges.

Statgun will be a (X)M312
I need suggestions on a ruger replacement - I was thinking Rx4, but its 5.56 semiauto and has 30 round clip - Then I thought Cx4 but it fires crappy pistol ammunition. (going for somewhat realism here). Guns gotta be designed/made 1990's-->2010ish (Ill probably just make it a gauss or railgun)

Criticism? Suggestions?

I wouldn't suggest using two very similar weapons (Scars H & L in this case) in the same mod. It gets confusing during play when you want to know what your enemy's using. Then again, you could just use the MR-C and one of the SCARs, so it's not really a problem...

I'd suggest some slightly more drastic shading on the LWRC SABR, and a PSG-1 for the ruger replacement.

Yeah, the SCAR-L an MR-C are  Steyr replacements, I just made the SCAR-L because it was a simple to do extra weapon....

Or you could use this. Some people dislike the use of shrinking because it's 'lazy', but it you honestly care more about how it was made than the end result, drawing guns isn't what you should be worrying about.

Frankly I think it looked worse after you shaded it. I mean it just lost all definition because there's no light/shade systems... >.<

I thought the same thing; I was just going through the steps I normally do to give an example. I'd say I overdid the detail to the point where it didn't look like the same gun.

Were I just making a gun I would have stopped at step 4, but saying "Find a weapon and shrink it" isn't much of a tutorial, eh?

I wish I'd saved a step by step on one of my better weapons...

Well sometimes increasing contrast works for shrinkydinks if you're really in the shrinkage mood...

Easier said than done when it comes to MS paint. See, it's things like this that make me want to learn how to use Photoshop.
