I got bored, opened up paint.net and screwed around with some affects and made this,

Yeah, i found out the hard way that filters and effects don't = art and ect.
But if it's any consolation, i think it's pretty cool :)
Although the bottom left corner is bland, shade it a little darker.

The bottom left corner is Very Bland. I didn't know how I would shade it because well... I don't want to screw up the water reflection affect that I downloaded, the point is, How should I shade it? I know you said darker, but if it was darker, It would appear as if that whole section was 1 single color.

Also, I need a Tutorial about how to put little islands in the back, I want it to look like, "I stand out, and I wither and die" sort of thing.

The lighting is wrong, it appears as though the sun behind the viewer's right shoulder, when the shadow is as if the sun is behind the tree thing, and there is no brightness to indicate the latter, yet the water reflection would indicate the former.

It looks like you extracted a tree off the internet, and then stretched it out of proportion, flipped it, and rippled it with a gradient background.  ???

The tree was made with a tree generator renderer.
