Gunshot during some kind of attack. At least the last few minutes or seconds of your life will be exciting.
I wouldn't mind dying for my country or someone I dearly love, either. Killing someone to save another person, but becoming mortally wounded in the process, then dying in someone's arms is always dramatic.

Genetic mutation! Yay! Kind of like some life altering chemical that gives me a week of total power to destroy things, and then as an army is coming down to shoot me, I die dramatically from the effects of the poison.

Or exhaustionnnn from *cough* whatever, who knows.

Funny story I heard for the first time today: My grandmother used to be a very famous piano player, in the bar and pub scene. So one year she was working with this group who call themselves the Klondike Kates (photo)

So, they're ALL fat ladies, wearing big feather scarves, etc..that's basically what they look like.

My grandmother was doing auditions and rehearsals at the time, to prepare for the Minnesota Winter Carnival. She lives in the way north of minnesota, and the kate's live in the south, so she had to stay with my dad. My grandfather (who was divorced from my grandmother) also lived at my dad's. In order to do auditions and rehearsals, my grandmother had to invite the kate's to my dad's house because there was nowhere else to play. So they had a scheduled rehearsal in the late night one day.

Unfortunatelyyy, my grandfather passed away that same day, in his sleep. My dad found him around noon, and called the coroner's and police. Apparently neither my grandmother nor the kate's got the notice, so they showed up right on time. The coroner and police get there shortly afterwards..and they were absolutely shocked when they saw all the kate's performing inside..like he was celebrating his dad's death, hahaha.

I would love to die fighting a giant squid. I think I saw one first in a Zoobooks as a kid, and I've been fascinated by them ever since. I'd be like James Bond in Dr. No! Well, an unsuccessful James Bond due to the thread topic.

Actually, it's easy to die from falling. In Paris, people commit suicide by jumping into the Seine. They die upon impact with the water.

I hate all of those deaths. In fact, I'm quite scared of death, period, so I'm getting quite disturbed by reading some of the posts in this thread. >.> If I was able to choose my death I would want to die of natural causes. No one can choose their death unless they commit suicide.

Fall. I like heights and I'd love to skydive to my death. Gunshot would be okay but uninteresting, burning would be excruciating, freezing would be horrible due to the slow numbing, drowning would be horrendous (it's bad enough when you inhale something and cough it out), bleeding to death would be unpleasant because of the stench of blood, and being eaten would be too slow and painful.
