I'd stop using them if they did that, with the arc how it is now you can pull off some amazing shots from behind polys and such.

Oh, true.

The arc screws my aim so bad though.

I suggest a tiny little reduction on recoil, not to much, but just that little bit less.
Lol, internets.

Yep. DEs are good weapons. But they are hard to use. I don't use 'em dat often.
that's why it would be an amazing secondary weapon

No way. Deagles are great for primarys.

Once you manage to use the arc of the bullets to your advantage, its fun to see the enemy go to mush when you plant 2 in their heads. It takes time to get accustomed to these guns because they're powerful, but you don't have that much ammo. I find more satisfaction killing with the deagles than what I do firing the Barret or blowing people apart with the M79. Practice more, you'll win with them ;)

I find the bullet arc hard to master too.

Ditto. I'm not arguing with the effects when you get it down, though.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

Deagles are kickass as they are. A smidge more damage would be an improvement... but they're fine as they are.

deagles are a good weapon to pwn and humiliate players. let's put it that way. and i swear i'll never use them in relastic version, its recoil is really huge!

If deagles get a one-shot headshot kill, then all weapons should. Because really, any one of the guns in soldat would kill a person with a headshot.

They kick ass in realistic, once you've got the recoil down pat, you can dish out the pain.

They're a great weapon for close-quarters rushing in INF maps like warehouse where you run out of space very fast.

DEagles are quite the odd weapon. True it can be menacing when used correctly. But lets think:
DEagles is just 1 weapon. You obviously can't use them 100% of the time unless you are a complete master, maybe MonK but I've never faced him. You need 3 maybe 4 shots for a kill in normal. with an m79, LAW, grenade, saw, knife .. Those are 1 hit and you're dead. It really depends on the enemy and map. Big map = fail > Long distance make DEagles lose power. M79 users are bound to get you before you can land a hit (Me, I'm hella good with the m79). Snipers as well. End:  Use DEagles when necessary

Rai Uses Deagles 24/7. Ever played him in a gather? Annoyed me that he was so good at them and I sucked at em.

Cardgames, DEagles have a longer range them the m79, Use the arc correctly and you never need to go in range of an m79r.

?..
If it's ctf, you *have to* move towards enemy flag to take it, and if its small map, m79er will be able to find a place where he can shoot.
...but they are still very powerful.

I never said anywhere that my post was CTF specific, Yes you should be moving forward, But the whole point is that the DEagals have a larger range then an m79.

Every weapon has (primary weapon) longer range than m79...
I've said about ctf because it's most played gamemode.
