Assuming that's true, it logically follows that an apocalypse has not occurred yet, since he has managed to be born.  Therefore, the vast majority of Armageddon prophecies so far are wrong.

Unless of course we live in the Matrix, then it's happened like what, 6 times. Anyhoo, the other big thing with these predictions is we do not know how they predicted this. Eat the wrong mushrooms on a camping trip? Elaborate hoax? Superstition? Never actaully predicted it? Too many questions for something that, if it in fact does happen, won't matter until after the fact, and we won't be here.

2001 was the last one. Apparently there has been an increase in sun-spots every year. All there needs to be is one in the right direction and it will handicap humanity for a while.

I recognize the whole "ZOMG GLOBAIL WARMANG!" thing, but it existed before Al Gore spouted liquid Philosophy from every orifice. People panicked because Al gore pretty much said we would all die a horrible gruesome death because our earth would represent the red spot of Jupiter, all angry and death like. But the fact is, Global warming existed BEFORE Al Gore was born, before he became a figurehead and a public speaker, but he decided enough was enough let's get on my high horse and tell the world we will be fucked tomorrow.
