choose a gun and stick to it. And do wh0re nades too much or else you'll suck at gunning.

as somebody suggested i am going to work on my dm skills first, and when im good enough im gonna play a lot of ctfs. then i might try gathers, though im a bit scared of being owned yet xD

i already manage to get the first place almost any time in a random dm, and thats a start, heh.

Disregard what everyone has said so far.
If you want to get better in Soldat, here's a real quick way.

Put Soldat over your family and friends, maybe even sex.

Yes, you might not have heard of R7, but we're going to establish some sort of training squad, I have no idea who's going to be picked. All I know is that is going to be scheduled after the SCTFL tourney is over. The picking is randomized, just try showing some talent if we are present at the same public servers.

play DM on R/S with good players, that can teach you.

play DM in realistic Mode then when you are a pro in playing the Realistic mode...you'll be a good playr on all kinds of modes in soldat

i suggest be patient on playing on pub. servers co'z u can encounter pretty bad players.....

Because soldat is waaay better then getting laid or having friends

Anyone know any good gathers? Ive spent 4 1/2 years in pub, TW, and CS. Gather sounds like it could make me better! : D

The main CTF ones are
Euro: #Soldat.gather
North American: #sna.gather

and for inf: #inf.gather

Thats all theres a few country specific ones, but I don't know em.

Yes its all on IRC, its just a more organized mixed scrim.
