The apparent lack of Australian servers....

Ok, I understand that GameArena is a very famous australian server...but I don't want to play normal soldat.
Those of you living in Australia, may have noticed that there is an extreme lack of R/S, trenchwar, climb, and duckhunt servers in Australia. Back in 1.3.1, there were LOADs of Aussie servers, so whats made things change?

I only see a few servers in my list with the Australian flag next to them. One R/S CS server, and 2 gamearena servers. and a select few passworded clan servers.
Whats the problem here?

Just look up the bandwidth pricing on any Australian datacenter and you will understand.

2 Gamearena Servers!? There are 6! Including the Passworded-Public, too keep people from having a more challenged play against other aussies.

There are countless servers in my ping range that are below 100 ping.

I only play on australian and new zealand servers..the rest the ping is too high :D

Yes, it's true, Australia does lack the servers running R/S, climbing and realistic. We do climbing through booked GameArena servers but I personally have only ever entered an aussie R/S server once in my life, when they decided to put one up. It didn't last long, guess it wasn't very popular.

I never knew you were aussie TBC. ;D
