You misunderstand me; I'm not advocating the use of .50's+ on human beings in any way. I don't advocate the use of any size of round on human beings. I have learned a lot about how such rounds are used, and their effects.

That argument gets harder to make as opponents use less honor. I wish such a principle was still true.
Gelatin tests would be far more relevant than armor tests. A .50 would no doubt blow a hole through someone's head, but that's a far cry from taking the whole thing off.
