I love the minigun. One of the best team weapons in the game. You don't get kills, but it makes your teammates' jobs a hell of a lot easier. Bink-machine against most weapons and makes you the biggest distraction in a firefight.
Minugun ruins different games, because some noobs gets tired of dying all the time, and are camping the base with the gun, just spraying.

Maybe if you were stuck in a 1 vs 1 situation.Can any auto even compare to the minigun's massive output of bullets. Sure, they don't have killing power, but for some reason, once you start letting loose, the opposite team automatically aims for you.
Only idiots care about their K/D to the point that they forget it is a CAPTURE THE FLAG/INFILTRATION game, not team deathmatch.

How about making the minigun a secondary, which has got everything as now except better accuracy/less bink BUT has got to be shot while crouched/prone
Minigun is a little underrated. I just tore up a bunch of people in deathmatch with it. However, they could really improve it by getting rid of the boost effect and the long startup time. Especially the startup time. That is what ruins it. Takes almost a whole second to start up. You're dead by then. And then you are encouraged to spray and fly all over, and you cant stop because that means another second startup. That is really what is killing it. Damage, believe it or not, is fine. We just need it where the gun isnt just a sprayer and prayer.
