Can we change the censor for the word sh*t. feck does not go with the sentence well. How about "poo".

As in: "What the hell is this poo?"
As opposed to: "What the hell is the feck?"
Or: "What the hell is this crap?"
Or: "What the hell is this stuff?"

best censor would be to put "*" for one/few letters in word so it's censored but you can know the sense without the problem 'cause when all word is "*" then you can have problems with finding the whole sense.

Example: "Fu*k you.", or "Fu** you."
You know exactly what the word is, why censor it at all?  You still read it the same way in your head.  Not one single person alive reads that as "Fu-star star you."

If someone that visits these forums is under COPPA age requirement, then they should be banned because of it.  If they're old enough to not get COPPA banned, then let them see uncensored words as far as I'm concerned.  They're the ones who are going to determine whether or not they start using the words on their own and such.  That just comes down to parenting.  If a parent doesn't want them to hear curse words, then monitor the sites they go to.  End of story as far as I'm concerned.

Hmm I mean that in most "normal" forums there are censors so why don't have one on SF? I think that it should be a standard on all forums.

Not everyone above the age of 13 curses. I really don't care either way about this but demanding the filter be removed is retarded. For one all the idiot little teenies that think cursing makes them cool will just love this place. Secondly its not hurting anyone by promoting even the smallest about of a friendly environment. I think that maybe swearing shouldn't be censored, but don't let people swear to much.
Maybe give a warning for posts like "fuck you you fucking gay motherfucker cunt bithc asswipe feckergot"
that contain most of the curse words. People really don't curse that much around here, so it isn't actually a big problem. But they should be encouraged not to on their own will...
