Man, every time I look at that USP with the LAM... I just shiver with excitement. You sir, are a legend. Will you be making the USP LAM with a version where the LAM is actually on? Forgive me for the...jumble of words in thos post, I only just got outta bed.

Frankly, TBC, you'll never see a laser line from the side in real life unless the laser was aimed through a cloud of dust [due to how the photons in lasers are collimated], and since Papasurf seems to be aiming for [no pun intended] a very realistic effect, I think the laser line would be somewhat counterproductive.

lol don't take it so seriously.  Hey, you got what you wanted right? cheer up, mate.

EDIT: didn't want to double post.  I've started on the SMGs, which are proving to be quite challenging.  They are smaller than most other weapons, but can't be made too small.  But they shouldn't be the same size as the other weapons either.  It's a dilemma that I'm still working on.  Finished the ak-74u and the mp5, pretty satisfied with both.  I'm sick right now and vacation's ending so updates are going to come slower.

Awesome work there but where is the grenade launcher from AK74u ? And I think the MP5 holding thing is little bit too straight , I mean its under higher angle. (the part between clip and calibre - shooting hole)

EDIT: ViN since now.

Underslung weapons on assault rifles add 25% more awesomeness.

Which brings an idea to mind: How about a custom M4A1 with an underslung XM-26 MASS?

Finished the last SMGs.  I like the P90, but don't care much for the Uzi or the Skorpion.  They're not bad, but I don't like shapes that I got stuck with.  They're both tall, short weapons, which doesn't translate well when given a limited number of pixels to work with.  Oh well, I still think they look fine, and the P90 balances it out.

...the P90's considered an SMG? Figured it'd fall under assault weapons, since it fires rifle ammunition, albeit small caliber. Ah well. Still looks great.

It fires ammo that's something betwen rifle ammo and pistol ammo (It's 5.8x28 as I good remember). Newer seen it called rifle. Everywere it's called smg. :)

It's referred to nowadays as a PDW (personal defense weapon) I think.  In the game, it's classified as an SMG.

Correct, the P90 is considered a PDW. As for the definition of PDW,

Quote from: Wikipedia, article "PDW"
A personal defense weapon (often abbreviated PDW) is a compact firearm with increased range and better armor penetrating capabilities than a pistol, machine pistol, or submachine gun, while being smaller than a full-sized assault rifle or carbine. PDWs otherwise share many of the characteristics of submachine guns and are often classified as such, though they utilize armor-piercing ammunition which makes them more effective, forming a sort of assault rifle/carbine/submachine gun hybrid

Due to the fact that PDWs generally fire small-caliber rounds and are usually quite compact, few people seem to try to make a distinction between PDWs and SMGs.
