Server Download Problem

Ive looked and looked for a solution ive tried almost everything when i host my soldat server everyone can join good there pings are a good 100-40 the only thing is no one can download custum maps off me server i opened all my ports and all that crap and peoples still cant dl from me. Could somone help me?

Make sure Allow_Download=1 ? (It's default).

Are you on Windows or Linux?

For reference/verification, which ports have you forwarded? Are you hosting as a listen server, with the built-in dedicated server in the Soldat client, or are you using the stand-alone dedicated server? (Use the stand-alone. The built-in hosting is VERY buggy. Especially under windows.)

im using stand alone i just figured some of it out i had the ports messed up but some people still cant dl from me.

Im having the same prob with people downloading my maps. they cant seem to and my router is set on DMZ setting

where do i access the stand alone oone and the other one (where are they)

the stand-alone version: http://www.soldat.pl/downloads/soldatserver251.zip

the built-in comes with the soldat client. it's old, buggy and unstable, dont use it.

umm your download doesnt seem to work, it says its not a valid zip file, and theres nthing in it, could osmeone give me the right link please

actually i just chacked the soldat site to download it and it still gives me the same error, so even the soldat's download place is screwed up too

Use a better/newer zip client. Latest versions of winzip, winrar, and winace can open the file without problems.
