Well, i have recently takin up guitar. but this time im going to stick with it. i have learned many metal songs off the net through Tabs. just wondering if anyone had some easy tabs that were metal/arpegios cause im geting good at finger speed.

Learn some Iron maiden, like Rainmaker. A Lot Most of their stuff will have you running around the fretboard like a confused cat.

i tryed thunder horse yesterday, i could only get past the begining, tho. And i am useing a Electric Les paul Classic, Epiphone. Iwish it was a gibson .

Lol your just naming songs off of guitar hero 2 i dont think you know much about guitar.

yep, they're sum songs from guitar hero 2, but hey, it's worth to try i also think calling master, deepest gray and we stand they're all by all that remains, and yes it's a great song

Sixpounder (solo2) - Children of Bodom (slow it down with windows media player first)

I would strongly suggest lessons.

slip knot is a great band, but they don't have a guitar solo,,,, so...... hm... u kno wut? try 'revolution death squad' by dragon force, that might be hard for ya,,,,, i think??

Heres comes the generic "Just because it's on Guitar Hero doesn't mean it's bad". Honestly, do real dancers get mad at you because you play DDR? No. In fact, just to make you mad, I suggest you learn Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson. This was the song that kind of made me "break through" a point where I couldn't get any better. The beginning will help you with small sweeps, arpeggios, and accuracy. Train your hands to synchronize with each other so you can actually sweep and such.  And how the hell do you play songs like this when you're new?
