Steyr Mannlicher is the real name of the firm that produces the AUG [Armee Universal Gewehr]. As far as I know it's pronounced Stay-er, kinda like Bayer.

I agree that his standards slip very easily... certainly I don't think he's ever been able to better his debut Reservoir Dogs... Pulp Fiction comes very close.

Jackie Brown isn't very good at all whilst Kill Bill is okay but very very overrated.

He's a good director though, he actually has the balls to do extended shots and he does them really really well. Most directors can't pull it off.
