I'm looking for a word to go with: Pain, Struggle...

Something to do with letting go, or trying to bottle it up, but it has to be ONE (1) word.

Any suggestions?

errm... no. It doesn't fit. Think War, that might help a bit. This is used as a way to describe supressed memories, to do with War.

And you're sure this word exists? i.e, were you specifically told to find a word that fits that example?

'Cause if not you might just be better off elaborating and using (gasp) more than one word.

It does exist. The only word that comes to mind is Suffering, but if you guys can suggest a better word...

Hmm, I'd say Agony, or Torment. They both depict pain and suffering. I hope we're not helping a serial killer here

No, not helping a serial killer. Agony and Torment were considered but they didn't seem to fit.
I guess its a slogan for my new movie (link in the sig).

Anguish is a good suggestion

I was thinking of replacing struggle with something a little more... powerful. I want the movie to have a powerful affect on people, so the description needs to be powerful as well.

At first I was thinking agony, but when I saw this (look at bold face words), I was thinking more Suicide/Misery.
