The Sceneryvault - a categorized Scenery storage
« on: July 18, 2006, 10:00:21 am »
i have a new project:
The Soldat Sceneryvault

the basic concept is:
easy accessable scenery categorized into multiple folders with ALL average to excellent scenery that i can get from maps posted here.

it will be hosted on a simple ftp webspace so you will actually go through the categories like through windows folders. there will be various subfolders. here is the basic structure:
home.arcor.de/sceneryvault

it will be online this evening with all scenery from my soldat folder, then there will be a txt with credits and a readme on the webspace. i will also share the webspace ftp access password with some other people so they can update the sceneryvault too. (they may not use it as a webspace for their maps)
if you want to be one of these guys simply write *vault-admin-wannabe* and i will make a decision based on my sympathy to you ;P

i will also try to get as many links as possible to the sceneryvault.

avarax dont use forum template. that is slow to load. just make a couple .php files and store all data in a mysql database. then the pages could just link to the images however u want by opening a database row and reading the string of data from it.
