I'm a CRT man. Better graphix. But it hurts the eyes...

CRT, good framerate, cheap price.

I may be switching to LCD when the current hi-end models are cheaper.

LCD, got one with the new computer, and it doesn't hurt my eyes as much as my old CRT monitor.

CRT cuz I can have 25 inch SCRT(shortened cathode tube) for a price of 19 inch LCD and I can watch TV in a medium sized room.

And enesce CRTs have better picture than LCDs

I find CRT monitors have much blurrier, less focused images, but that may just be me.

Not really, after switching to a 17" LCD after using a 17" CRT for the past 5 years, the picture quality of the LCD was much better. Besides that, LCD's are much more crisp around the edges.

Both.
My ViewSonic 19 INCH LCD gets a maximun res of 1280x1024.
My Dell 19 INCH CRT has a flat screen (the glass part is flat) and a max red of 1600x1200(thats the only res I use).

Both monitors have very clear screens and play soldat and games great.

But I have to slide alittle more to the crt because its been proven that they last 10 years and has a higher res than my lcd.

The lowdown:

CRT looks pretty good in almost all resolutions.

LCD looks awsome, but only in one resolution and multiples of it. Say the default is 1024x768. The only other resolutions that will look good are 512x384 and 256x192.

Because I work with many resolutions (gamer maker user here), I prefer CRT, because 640x480 and 800x600 look godawful on LCD.
