On Super Smash Bros. Brawl, how do you add another Wii controller to play with a friend?

If it's synced properly, it should turn on and interact with whatever game you're playing simply by pressing A. But I doubt that's your problem...

If there's any settings you have to fiddle with in the game, I can't help you, because I won't be getting Brawl until next paycheck.

If it's a new controller it needs to be synced (read the manual).

If it's his controller that he's brought with him, it also needs to be synced, but theres a way to do it only temporarily (read the manual).

If it's your controller, just pressing A, as twistkill said, should be all that's needed as longa s the batteries aren't dead.

You need to press the sync buttons on both the Wii remote and the Wii simultaneously. Psycho has stated where the sync button on the remote is. The sync button for the Wii itself is underneath the small cover that pops open on the front of the console. It shows a location for SD cards with the button being right near it.

It's in the Wii manual, in case Twistkill's detailed response didn't help.
