I just Googled my name, and it turns out it's sorta popular...

Heh, try being Zero.

In my particular case, I named myself after the Mega Man character. 72 is a numeral I've always liked for whatever the reason and have traditionally used in most of my screen names over the years, although numerals are soooooo last decade now. It has no real significance except that I always liked it.

I had a Nintendo 64 back in the day - still do - and back in the days I would play the heck out of Super Smash Bros with my brother. However, whenever playing Pokeballs, I would end up with damned Goldeen every second one. It was unlucky, 13 is unlucky, Roman numerals are unlucky, too.
Not the most original name, I know, but it stuck, and applies to today as well - when a Fox is egged in a Yoshi Egg on Yoshi's Story only to be saved by the cloud in a tournament match, luck can be the only thing one can blame, but it was damned hilarious in retrospect.

i've come up with my name 3yrs ago. when im walking to my home, im just walking  and walking home after school(of course) on my way i'd step on a dog poop and its YUCK!. And since im really stupid and pretty retarded after washing my shoes i'd stop to think, i rumble and rumble dog poop and come up with my nick poopdogg. Its a double "g" in the dog coz of ......(you what gangsta im in). thats where my comes.

I used to be named Sir Gunny. I ripped that one off a guy I saw in the now-gone 31st Century Mechbay forums named Sir Gummy. Then I went through one or two other names. Eh.
