Magrass

Volcanic island map, with a weird bridge design. It should look okay in-game. If you guys don't like it, I can change it to the ol' rope bridge thing. Polygon placement and shading is slightly defaultish.

I love the visuals, the layout isn't too bad either, though i really can't see the path through the inside of the volcano from the picture.

The bridges do look weird but they are different, which is always most of the time good. One of your better maps that i've seen you make.

One suggestion would probably be the base of the bridges have some type of design, it looks like you just used some type of metal scenery which, IMO, doesn't fall in well with the rest of the map being 'rugged' looking. Beat the bridge up some.

This map looks like it'd be fun for team match, give it those spawns. Also give it the yellow flag, and the rambo bow spawns.

The scenery mostly looks good. I don't really like the water because it creates a really abrupt change from the land above it when you are looking at the map. Maybe give it some kind of gradient or layer it so it looks darker.

Judging from the overview, those bridge things look bland as hell. Either make them ropes or make them some color other than boring shades of gray.

Not too bad overall.

I really think there should be a hole in the top bridge...

Polygon placement and shading is slightly defaultish.
I protest that. :o

You should modify the lights hanging from the ropes. With their red color, they look more like some alarm flash which does absoluteley not fit into the otherwise nice jungle island atmosphere.

You can keep the bridge, but as Mastadi said, add a small whole to it. The isolation of the 2 map parts is really not beneficial for the general layout. And you should change the bridge accordingly to what you said (ol' rope thingie).

I can barely see the difference between the polygons and the tunnel background.

the greyness of the bridge is rather crappish if you know what I mean.

Gosh it's lovely. The layout looks really cool.

The only things that need to be done? Make the tunnel bgs a bit lighter, like Horve said. Make the lamps anywhere from RGB255,255,240 to RGB255,255,224, and make it so that they cast light on the surrounding polygons.

Oh, and scenerize those bridges to hell, they need it.

This is a rather odd bunch of people to come about and comment on a map....I'm probly wrong, but this map has a nice feel to it. I haven't seen a classicish island looking map in a while, and it's nice to see this one. I frankly don't have anything to add with the criticism though, because it has all been said for the most part... and I shant download it yet.

I think the water is fine the way it is because water does indeed differ from the land quite a bit in real life, and does so in the map as all. Nice work
