yesh anyways,
i discovered soldat on a windows XP magazing which came with a disc full of game demos. soldat 1.3.1 was on there, i played it for ages in singleplayer, not knowing i could go online with it =/ Â but yer i found it eventuallly XD

I saw a small article on it in PC Gamer (they described it as a good game to play if you have nothing better to do), thought "that looks interesting", then forgot about it. Then after I got bored of Maplestory (which didn't take long), I started looking for an exciting online game and rediscovered Soldat, installed it, played it, loved it.

Btw: I've always dreamed about 2D game that would be easy to mod. I found BEU but I couldn't mod it so I searched more and found Soldat.

I'm forced to play against my will, i am sitting on a trap door to which if i turn off soldat and/or close out soldat forums, the trap door will open and i will fall into a bottomless pit, which i am actually considering just for sh*ts and giggles.
