People are just short minded

This was in TBA server (where I usually play). A lot of ppl hate M79, and I dont give a crap about that. What I do give a crap is when they just whine everytime I kill them. Well, in TBA server, as most people know, theres a swearing filter: the server kills ya everytime u swear. At the third time you get kicked. Loved how this dude did what I said :)

I can understand if u use M79 sometimes, but IMO that's not fair, when u , or someone else uses M79 all the time, without any other weapons.

That is just weapon rape.

I just dont understand why ppl hate it so much... yrs ago it was barret, now its M79 :| I use M79 for 2 reasons:

The angle calculations required for a perfect shot;
The impact, allowing me to do several different things (like slowing down an enemy trying to get the flag, or just burst myself).

People hate m79s because its one shot kill, and its good for people with quick reflexes, and because you can move yourself fast. And ya, i hate people who get offended by swearing. I don't like racism though. Makes me single them out as my target.Racism sucks.

The internet's getting more and more ego these days...

I would actually say that the M79 is one of the guns that are harder to aim in a way if shot at a reasonable distance away (not kamikazee) due to movement acc, bink and the fact that its projectile is slow and tightly angled.

90%(or even more) of m79 kills are close-mid range the remaining 10% is mostly just luck.

Honestly, i think the script sucks. Even standard taunts in Soldat are a kind of swearing..

I met someone in a DM who called the "m79 a noob gun and the users using are noobs". Ironic, he uses them sometimes too.
