Start the server from a command prompt so that you are able to see the error message.

Under Windows XP, you can achieve this by Start -> Run... -> "cmd" -> "cd path\to\soldatserver" -> "soldatserver.exe"

or just create a .bat file in the server folder with only two lines:

soldatserver
pause

and run the server using that batch file

Do you have soldat opened?

Shut it down and start the server after if you have.

Close soldat -> Start the server after -> Wait some seconds -> Start soldat -> Join server

I joined my own server, and nothing interesting happens... just a normal server with no scripts... it should have the MMOD by Avarax...
