The point is there is a fundamental design difference from a car wheel and a plane wheel, as well as its force.

I really can't understand how it would possibly work.
Let's say the the wheel on the plane is moving and so is the convoyer belt. How the heck can the plane fly?

Because the wheel's only there for supporting the aircraft. Let me tell you a secret:

Airplanes don't work like cars.

I know right now you must be jumping up and down yelling "that's not possible!" because "how the hell does the airplane move forward if the engine isn't hooked up to the wheel!?"

That's a very good question, son. The truth is that the airplane has a different type of engine! It sucks in air in the front and craps it out in the back, much like you do with food. Now then, the airplane craps out air much faster than you do with food, and it's this crapping action that pushes the airplane forward.

I imagine you know how swimming works. Now imagine you're a squid. Now imagine I bought a simple rubber band balsa aircraft kit and took out the wheels and taped it onto you. I stick you in the water. now you're sinking. Now you're on the bottom of the container of [sea]water. You start sucking in water and squirting it out, like all squids do. ZOM you shoot off and, gasp, the wheels had nothing to do with it!

Conversely, back to the car thing, if you stuck a big wing onto a nice little 1972 VW Bug and started the engine and ran off...maybe you could generate enough air under those wings to lift you off. But you lift off, and, oh snap! The wheels...are not...contacting..the ground! So you fall back down, only repeat the cycle of accelerating past the threshold, lifting off, losing power, and coming back down.

To summarize, let me explain this in simple terms you might be able to understand: The wheels have nothing to do with how fast the airplane will go. How fast the airplane will go controls if it lifts off or not, that's all that matters. The wheels are there just so that the airplane doesn't flop over and die, like Horve should.

In simple terms let me explain to you, Espadon, that you are a retard level seven.
Airplanes don't work like cars - no shit!
if the airplane is in a place where there is almost no  air, the wagon will not fly, no matter what terrain it is on, no matter how many wheels are stuck up its butt, no matter how many wings it has. If it is inside a concealed space that blocks the aircraft from lifting itself- it still can not fly, not depending in anything. Otherwise, why wouldn't it fly, its like throwing something throwable- it will get thrown theoretically.
Don't forget to cut your wrists Espadon, send me a screenie when you do.

not if its in the hangar.

It seems I am forced to post this now...

A hangar is an enclosed structure designed to hold aircraft in protective storage. Most modern hangars are built of metal, but wood and concrete are other materials commonly used. The word hangar comes from a northern French dialect, and means "cattle pen."

Hangars protect aircraft from weather and ultraviolet light. Hangars may be used as an enclosed repair shop or, in some cases, an assembly area. Additionally, hangars keep secret aircraft hidden from satellites or spyplanes.

Aircraft storage halls on carriers are also known as hangars.

The Airplane will take off if the conveyor belt is long enough, because at first the thrust of the airplane will not be 100km/h, so it will get moved back by the conveyor until it has enough thrust to overpower the friction in the axles. If the airplane was tied in place somehow and accelerated until the Jet engines were providing a net force of 100km/h of thrust (thrust minus drag) and the conveyor belt was going 100km/h then if the plane was released it would take off because the power from the belt would just make the wheels spin, the thrust of the engines push against the air, this also means the wheels would be moving over the conveyor belt at 200km/h.

That didn't come out quite as concise as I planned, but if you want I will draw a diagram to aid the douchebags who think the plane will not take off.

For all intents and purposes, though, the axles are considered 'frictionless.'

THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE SIMPLEST/MOST IN DEPTH EXPLANATION IN THIS TOPIC:

First of all, your stupid car wheels and seaplane explanation is confusing and distracting from the whole point.

The plane can take off because of the way it moves. The propeller/jet engine pushes the plane forward using backwards thrust, when the plane gets to a certain speed, the flow of air over the wing causes an upward push on the craft (lift).

Now instead of just letting the plane drag on the ground engineers gave it wheels, these wheels are very simple, the speed of the wheels spinning do not pull on the plane, that means the airplane body is completely independent of the ground. The airplane can take off in the same way it takes off in stable ground because the ground's speed has no effect on the airplane.

To alleviate any confusion, I'll also explain cars and seaplanes. When a car's wheels spin without using the engine, the engine has to turnover as well (in driver's ed, they should have told you you could stop a car with a manual transmission by downshifting through the gears) The wheels don't spin in the same way a matchbox car does, there is a whole engine that has to turnover. Seaplanes actually do have to overcome some drag caused by its floaters. It's floaters work just as a boat does (we're covering land sea and air) it bobs around in the water, and it goes in whatever direction the water goes, the current pulls on these floaters which would either slow down the plane or give it a nice little push if both head the same direction. Theoretically a seaplane could not take off against a high current, just like a boat sometimes can't. however, using the current to their advantage, the pilots could gain a significant speed boost because of the current.

Wasn't the plane supposed to be on a conveyor belt that runs as fast as the plane, making it stationary?
