Nooooooo not Mythbusters. Seriously just because something has been done on T.V. people would believe it. As a few people said their test was flawed. And other stuff. You can't exactly test this without some absurd amount of money, time, and a general waste of life.

Yes, the plane does take off. But the question itself is dumb: the wheels completely negate the power of the belt. The guy who first thought about the question probably didn't think of that.
