'ey all you Soldateers!

Some of you might know AlterEgo but in case you don't, we are a Finnish clan and have been around since 2003. We have been hosting clan war servers for the clan community for years already, and today we decided to open our very own public server!

Right now, it's a CTF server with all the default maps, 12 players limit and round rules are what clans use in the popular leagues. 10 minutes, 10 caps, all weapons enabled to make it short. Since a lot of clanners are most likely going to be aware of the server, we expect that it won't be the easiest server around, but on the other hand, we also want to keep it fair and fun for everyone. No kicking just because someone's too bad or too good, plus we want to encourage a friendly atmosphere. If someone is being overly mean or votekicking someone for no reason, feel free to report it here or contact me on IRC.

Furthermore, we are planning on doing some random stuff with the server every now and then. We are going to add some cool custom maps, playing different subgamemodes and so on, and everyone is welcomed to join!

I played in this server (ok i didn't but whatever) and it's great. No noise, no interference, no need to use hot-water drying system. Monitored from irc by loads of admins, using standard SCTFL compliant server settings, what else can you ask? Move it to an NA host maybe? F*ckers. Anyways, it's great. I'm not high, just showing my support to these awesome servers (i'm taking a step in the future here, for i know more will be added shortly).

..i'm fairly sure this will be a great success. Especially, considering how all pub servers these days are GAY, with retarded SCRIPTS, right? Ok, i'm done gl with this crap.

PS: An admin competition was held to see who could ban the most hackers. ramirez emerged as the definite winner, followed by ds and myself. Here's what ds had to say about it:
