Hello, 93 here.

If you've been looking around, I did post the download for Dual USSOCOMs on some posts as an attachment while talking on topic on some threads. I decided to finally just put it up here for you guys. This is another simple mod by me to replace Desert Eagles with Dual USSOCOMs. Basically, it is completely the same as the default USSOCOM, except for longer reload time and you fire two shots at once. The weapon can be considered overpowered ; try it out and you'll know why XD Overall, I think this mod is worth a try since its weapon sounds, together with its stats makes it a pretty addictive weapon.

Sorry if you have downloaded the earlier version of this mod, the deserteagle firing sound is the same as the original. So I changed it.

If you're wondering, I made this weapon mod for my zombie mod, so you can see that Zombie Sniper there which is actually just a LAW with 25 startup time and a total of 240 reload and fireinterval time, and other weapons =.="

You didn't make dual SOCOMs, you made dual super-deagles. =.='

I'm assuming if this is really a dual socom mod then you will have made an interface for it aswell as weapon gfx.

If you haven't done these things, and all you've done is change a few numbers around in the weapon.ini then I will be most disappointed.

Err I didn't change just the weapon.ini, the interface etc is also changed.

I'm simply using the 1.4.2 socom bullets that look like big lasers O.o

If you don't like it, just use the 1.3 bullets.

True, but that's actually because the Soldat's HP is reduced. Take a look at your realistic weapon.ini ;)

If you really want it though, just telling you that I do mods the easy way so ya XD.

EDIT:
Just to tell you how simple was this mod:

1. Take the single USSOCOM sprite, replace each Desert Eagle for all sprites
2. Replace all other Desert Eagle sprites with USSOCOM sprites
3. The firing sound: Using Sound Recorder. I mixed a second socom shot at 0.10 seconds.

4. Reload sound: A bit more complicated. I cut up the socom's reload sound into three parts: Clip out, clip in, slideback. I also tried to get a wav that has no sound. So if I'm not wrong, I did this (using Insert file at the end of each sound):

Clip out, clip out, silent, clip in, clip in, silent, slideback, slideback

5. The interface: I copied one USSOCOM over the other.

6. Weapon ini: Just use the exact same stats of the USSOCOM, then modifying the reload time to suit the sound.

All sprites done with bmp. Sounds done with Sound Recorder.

I don't know what next you'll discover. I think it would be so cool if you could make PNG weapon files!!! Oh yeah and I think it'll be cool if it was possible to also change the look of the other weapons other than the Desert Eagles and SOCOM lol! Maybe you can turn the Ruger into like a M1 I think it would be so totally cool. But too bad I don't know how to do it, maybe you can show me?
