It's been constantly occurring for millions of years, It didn't just START happening when that idiot said to the world " Teh Polar icecaps R meltingz!".
We can't stop global warming, We are not the creators of global warming. We couldn't raise the temperature of the earth by ourselves if we tried.
Carbon dioxide is not a large factor in global warming, Methane is 10x more destructive to the ozone than Carbon dioxide.

Get a grip morons, the media and the politicians blew it waaaaay out of proportion.

carbon dioxide is emitted in much greater numbers and methane breaks down a lot quicker as far as i know. and regardless of whether global warming would have happened or not, it's undeniable that humans have played a part in accelerating it.

I agree we have accelerated it, But not by the amount that people proclaim it.
Global warming has always been around, It didn't just pop out of the ground at some point in the late 90's. And people go to the extreme to erase their carbon footprint, which is bullbollocks. You're not solving a damn thing, you're just making yourself feel better.(Unless you're trying to not feel "guilty" at destroying shit, then i guess you've done an alright job.)

Turning your lights off does nothing because in the second that loads of people turn their lights on again, power plants struggle a lot to keep up with that. There's this thing that induced electricity always works against it's source but I forgot it's name, it however causes the power plants to eat a lot of shit when everyone turns their lights back on.
