Ok, I've made another logo and I think it is more "soldatish".

My vote goes to this guy. I agree on the animation being like 5 or 6 seconds apart between /victories.

I vote Sonny's 6 second version, the chainsaw dude gives some interest to the image. Someone posted 'let's get something people will look at for more than just a day', and I think I could spend hours just looking at that /victory dance.

Awesome. Any chance you could make a version with the ground layer a bit further up to get a little padding between the navigation, and without the ".: :." stuff, though?

You can always turn off image animations.

It isn't because it annoys me/I don't want animations, I just like the idea of an animation that happens once in a while, not frequently.

edit: because of the "did that just move? <wait 5 minutes> oh yeah it did! neat!" factor

Yes, a rotating soldatforums banner will be awesome. We had a competition for the aussoldat forums and picked the best ones and just rotate it through with each refresh.
