Is the "g" in "Ruger" pronounced like the "g" in "garden" or like the "j" in "jam"?

Very soft G i think. Like germany but normally softer than that.

Obviously the "guh" sound isn't that strong but you get the idea.

I prononce it Ruger just like it sounds. Oh yeah... ~~We swedes pronounce u as a English O. And your O as Å and Å Like your U.~~
